PAGANZ Conference 2012

The Otago Pharmacometrics Group attended the 14th annual scientific meeting of PAGANZ held at Monash University, Melbourne from 6-8 February.

PAGANZ is a scientific group for pharmacometricians within Australasia. The conference included workshops on transformations and clinical trial simulation.

Otago was well represented with oral presentations from all the attendees (Steve Duffull, Hesham Al-Sallami, Dan Wright, Julia Korell, Abhishek Gulati, Chakradhar Lagishetty and Katie Owens).

Chakri gave an oral presentation "A reduction in between subject variability is not mandatory when adding a new covariate" and went on to win the Nick Holford student prize for the best oral presentation.
