Graduation - 3 December 2011

The graduating class of 2011 enjoyed a Morning Tea & Prizegiving at the Hunter Centre. The Christina White prize for top overall performing student throughout the BPharm programme was awarded to Michelle Whyte. Further awards were given to Richard Prentice, Brooke Hines, Michelle Whyte, and Mandy Ma.

Postgraduate awards went to Marie-Louise Chiaroni, Toonyawait Ing-Aram for top marks received in PGCertPharm (MEMA) programme, Claire McGuinniety for top mark in PHCX512 Advanced Clinical Pharmacy paper, and Laura Clunie for top marks in the PGDipClinPharm programme.

PhD graduate Rohit Jain was awarded a plaque by the Dean for his achievement.

Research seminar - 15 December

On Thursday 15 December, Dr David W Boulton, Clinical Director, Discovery Medicine & Clinical Pharmacology, Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, Princeton, NJ, will be giving seminar on ‘The Role of Clinical Pharmacology in Drug Development: Dapagliflozin Novel SGLT2 Inhibitor, as a “Sweet Example”’. Room 713, Adams Building at 1pm.
